Family Conferences
Parent-Teacher Conferences at PS/IS 210
At PS/IS 210, we believe that strong partnerships between families and educators are essential to student success. To support this collaboration, parent-teacher conferences are scheduled three times throughout the academic year. These conferences provide valuable opportunities for students, parents or guardians, and teachers to come together and discuss each child’s academic progress, strengths, and areas for growth.
In addition to these scheduled meetings, we recognize that concerns or questions may arise at any point during the school year. If a parent, guardian, or teacher feels that a conference is needed outside of the regular schedule, we encourage you to reach out. Appointments can be arranged at any time to ensure that we are working together to support your child’s learning and development.
Curriculum Night at PS/IS 210
Each fall, PS/IS 210 hosts Curriculum Night, a special event designed to welcome families into our school community and foster strong home-school connections. This evening provides a valuable opportunity for parents and guardians to meet their child’s teacher, connect with other members of the teaching staff, and engage with fellow families.
During Curriculum Night, teachers will present an overview of the school’s academic program and share detailed insights into the curriculum, classroom expectations, and learning goals for the year. It’s a great time to ask questions, learn how to support your child’s learning at home, and become more involved in their educational journey.
