  “Emotional Intelligence Conversation"

  We are excited to announce an upcoming presentation for our 8th grade students titled “Emotional Intelligence Conversation,”  This presentation will be hosted by OPTIONS, a program created by the New York City Police Foundation and the NYPD. This presentation is designed to help our students develop crucial emotional intelligence skills, which are essential for their personal and social development.

  Emotional intelligence is a key factor in students’ ability to manage their emotions, communicate effectively, and build strong relationships. By exposing our students to this content, we aim to equip them with the tools they need to navigate their emotions and interactions in a healthy and constructive manner.

  To Empower Students: To provide a platform for students to voice their experiences and concerns, which can empower them and make them feel heard.

  For Education and Prevention: To offer an opportunity to educate everyone about the signs of bullying, its effects, and strategies for prevention and intervention.

  To Create a Positive School Climate**: By addressing bullying openly, schools can work towards creating a safer and more inclusive environment for all students.

  This initiative is vital in helping our students build the confidence and knowledge they need to navigate our city safely. It ensures that they are well-equipped with the necessary skills to stay safe in our bustling urban environment.
