Elementary Enrollment Pre- K and Kindergarten
If you are interested in registering your child in Pre-K or Kindergarten, create a MySchool Account and apply.
To create the account, navigate to MySchool Account click "Create New Account," and follow the instructions, including providing your email address, creating a password, and verifying your email. You will also need to provide parent/guardian information, such as your phone number and address, and confirm your consent to receive important updates from the NYC Department of Education.
Here's a more detailed breakdown:
- Go to the MySchools website
- Create a new account: Click on "Create New Account".
- Enter your information: Provide your first name, last name, email address, and create a password. Note that passwords must be at least eight characters long.
- Verify your email: You will receive an email verification link. Click on the link to confirm your email address.
- Complete the parent/guardian information: Fill in the required fields, including your phone number, address (must be a valid New York City mailing address), and preferred language.
- Submit: Click "Submit" to finalize your account creation.
- Add your child: You will need your child's MySchools account creation code (found on their welcome letter) and their student ID (OSIS number).
- Manage your account: Once logged in, you can manage your account and add additional children using their respective creation codes and student IDs.

As a Dual Language School, PS/IS 210 follows a specific admissions process to ensure that students are placed in the most supportive learning environment. Once we receive your initial information, we will schedule an appointment for your child to participate in an academic evaluation. This assessment helps us determine your child’s current academic level and whether they meet the criteria to thrive in our Dual Language Program.
Following the evaluation, if your child is eligible for enrollment, you will be asked to submit the following documents to complete the registration process:
- Student identification (e.g., birth certificate or passport)
- Proof of address (parent/guardian)
- Proof of immunization (child)
- Most recent report card (child)
