About Us

PS/IS 210, The Twenty-First Century Academy for Community Leadership, is a Pre– Kindergarten to 8th grade dual language school.  High standards are maintained and multiple forms of assessments used to evaluate the progress of children.  In partnership with Community Association of Progressive Dominicans, Inc. (ACDP), children and families are provided with the social/emotional, physical, and academic supports they need to be productive citizens. Our mission is to provide a dual language learning experience that will enable all students to become lifelong learners and leaders in their communities and in our global society.

PS/IS 210, The Twenty-First Century Academy for Community Leadership is an English-Spanish dual language school where instruction is conducted in both English and Spanish. Dual Language education is an effective approach to developing language proficiency and literacy in English and a partner language. 

At the Twenty-First Century Academy for Community Leadership, we are dedicated to achieving academic excellence for all our students through standards-driven instruction, a nurturing environment, and the development of the civic and social skills necessary to function productively in society. Our mission is to provide a dual language learning experience that will enable all students to speak, read, and write in two languages and to become lifelong learners and leaders in their communities and in our global society.
