  First Day of School

  Regular School Day Schedule & Arrival Information & Dismissal Information 

  All students are expected to attend school, and the day will follow a regular full-day schedule:

  Pre-Kindergarten

  Arrival: Class instruction begins at 8:15 a.m. 

  • Pre-K students must not be dropped off in the main lobby. A parent or guardian is required to escort their child directly to the classroom.
  • If you arrive before 8:10 AM, please wait with your child in the main lobby until the official classroom drop-off time.
  • All Pre-K parents MUST sign in with the safety officer each morning before proceeding to the classroom. 

  • Dismissal:2:15 PM
  • Parents must enter the building through the main entrance for pick-up.
  • Parents will exit the building through door leading to the ramp
  • The main entrance doors will open at 2:10 PM to allow parents to enter.

   

  Kindergarten

  Arrival: Class instruction begins at 8:20 a.m. 

  • Building opens at 7:45 am except for Pre-K. Students arriving at this time will wait in the main lobby to be picked up at 7:55 am to be taken to the cafeteria for breakfast.
  • Academic Instruction begins promptly at 8:20 AM. Students arriving after 8:20 am will be marked late and MUST sign the late book at the front desk.

  Dismissal: 2:30 pm

  • Parents must enter the building through the main entrance to pick up their children.
  • Parents will exit the building with their children through door leading to the ramp.
  • Parents picking up students will be allowed in the building at 2:25 PM.

   

  Grades 1–5

  Arrival: Class instruction begins at 8:20 a.m. 

  • Building opens at 7:45 am except for Pre-K Students arriving at this time will wait in the main lobby to be picked up at 7:55 am to be then taken to the cafeteria for breakfast.
  • Academic Instruction begins promptly at 8:20 AM. Students arriving after this time will be marked late and MUST sign the late book at the front desk.

  Dismissal: 2:35 PM

  • Parents must enter the building through the side door on Amsterdam Ave and go straight to the gym to pick up their children.
  • Parents will exit the building with their children through door leading to the ramp.
  • Doors will open at 2:30 pm
  • Parents picking up students will be allowed in the building at 2:35 PM.

   

  • Middle School -Grades 6–8

  Arrival: Class instruction begins at 8:30 a.m. 

  • Middle school students will enter school through the main entrance (front door).
  • Once students arrive at school, they will gather in the main lobby until directed to the cafeteria for breakfast.
  • Students arriving after breakfast will go directly to their classrooms.
  • Students arriving after 8:35 MUST sign the late book and go directly to classroom.

  Dismissal: 2:50 PM

   

   Breakfast Schedule

  • Pre-K: Breakfast is served in the classroom.
  • Grades K–5: Breakfast is served in the cafeteria from 8:00 to 8:15 AM.
  • Grades 6–8: Breakfast is served in the cafeteria from 8:20 to 8:30 AM.

  Please ensure your child arrives on time and is prepared for a full day of learning.

It is a scholarship and savings program designed to make college and career training more accessible and achievable for public school students. It enables all of us to work together to build assets and support expectations of educational and economic success for every child.

  Curriculum Night Meeting - Noche de Curriculum

  Curriculum night meetings are scheduled for fall each year. This event is an opportunity for you to meet your child’s teacher as well as the rest of the teaching staff and other parents. You will hear an overview of the school program, as well as detailed information about your child’s class curriculum. If you have personal questions about your child’s education, please arrange a phone call or meeting with your child’s teacher.

Este evento le brinda la oportunidad de conocer al maestro de su hijo, así como al resto del personal docente y a otros padres.
