  Parent-Teacher Conferences - Conferencias de padres y maestros

  Virtual Meeting Teachers will share their individual meeting links or preferred method of communication with families closer to the event date.

  Schedule: 1:00 to 3:00 pm / 5:30 - 8:00 pm

  Parent-teacher conferences are valuable opportunities for parents and teachers to connect and collaborate on a child’s academic and social development. Here's what typically happens during these meetings:

  Purpose of Parent-Teacher Conferences

  • Discuss Academic Progress: Teachers share how the student is performing in subjects like reading, math, science, and writing.
  • Review Assessments and Work Samples: Teachers may show test scores, classwork, or projects to illustrate the student’s strengths and areas for growth.
  • Talk About Behavior and Social Skills: Teachers provide insights into how the student interacts with peers, follows classroom rules, and participates in activities.
  • Set Goals: Together, parents and teachers can set academic or behavioral goals for the student.
  • Address Concerns: Parents can ask questions or raise concerns about their child’s learning, behavior, or well-being.

  210 Improv Show - Elementary Series

  Dear Elementary Teachers and Students,

  We’re thrilled to announce the 210 Improv Show: Elementary Series happening throughout the month of March in the Black Box Theater (Room 404).

  This interactive performance invites students to not only watch but also participate in the fun! The 210 Improv Team will perform with and for the audience, making each show a unique and engaging experience.

  FoodStream Edible Kitchen

  The FoodStream LEARN Sustainability Project: Edible Kitchen is a multi-week, in-school program designed to engage students in sustainability and climate action through food. Delivered over four weeks and culminating in NYC DOE Climate Action Day, the program offers interactive, joyful, and educational sessions.

  Students are introduced to seed-to-plate learning, food waste reduction, composting, food access, and shared responsibility for the environment. Through hands on activities and guided discussion, they explore how everyday food choices connect to sustainability, climate, and community wellbeing.

  Saturday Academy Program

  Saturday Academy is a supportive academic program designed to help students build confidence, strengthen skills, and prepare for assessments in a positive, encouraging environment. During each session, students receive targeted help in key subject areas such as reading, writing, and math, along with structured test‑taking practice and strategies.

  Our goal is to make learning feel manageable and motivating. Students work in small groups with experienced educators who provide personalized instruction, review important concepts, and model effective study habits. Saturday Academy emphasizes growth, effort, and progress—helping students feel prepared and confident in their academic abilities
